A KENTUCKY BOURBON TRAIL EXPERIENCE:
We invite you to come enjoy the Westernmost point on the famed Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We are open daily for distillery tours and tasting experiences.
If you’re looking for Green River merchandise, please check out our online shop. Orders can be shipped or picked up curbside here at the distillery. Please note that alcohol is available for pickup only and cannot be shipped. A valid ID will be required to pick-up curbside orders.
Grab a hand-crafted specialty drink from our cocktail lounge and get ready to learn all about whiskey. A tour of the historic Green River Distilling Co. covers every aspect of whiskey production, from grain to mash to beer to distillate to barrels of whiskey.
And after you’ve seen how it’s made, you’ll get to taste through our exquisite bourbon and rye whiskies with our resident experts in our tasting room.
Finally, no visit would be complete without a stroll through our on-site gift shop! Featuring Green River Distilling Co. branded hats, shirts, glassware, and much more, you’re sure to find a perfect gift for any bourbon lover (even if that person is yourself…go ahead, you deserve it).

Monday – Saturday, 9am – 3:30pm
TOURS
Distillery Tours: Monday – Saturday, 9am, 11am, and 1pm
Sit and Sip: Monday-Saturday, 10:30am and 12:30pm
Barrel Thieving Tour: Tuesday through Thursday, 3pm
Tours are $20 and include samples of three whiskies.
While you must be 21 to sample, you do not need to be 21 to tour.
Please note: Our tours last approximately 60 minutes and are very much “behind the scenes.” Tours are given rain or shine and you will be walking around both the inside and outside of an active distillery. Depending on the time of year, the route may include wide temperature differences. Our tour currently requires all guests to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs and over some uneven ground. It can be noisy in the production areas and most buildings are not temperature controlled. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. We promise it is worth it!
